Highland Community Learning Center provides an alternative learning experience for all children in our community from kindergarten to twelfth grade. No matter their background, each child deserves a top-notch school experience that teaches the same skills and offers the same level of socialization as any typical school. We are also proud to serve children with autism and autism spectrum disorder at our learning center.
All services required by the students IEP will be available and administered on site.
These services include:
All of our personnel at Highland Learning Center are trained to improve the communication/socialization skills of our students. Our autistic students will work closely with our trained staff to give them the best schooling experience as possible. Choosing an alternative learning center, especially for a child with autism, can be a challenge; Highlands offers the peace-of-mind that your child will learn, socialize, and get a great schooling experience during their years at our school.
Beyond simply serving the children with autism in Columbus, we are also a learning center that has the direct ability to help you sign up for the Autism Scholarship and the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship so that we are able to also give peace-of-mind that your child's learning experience will be affordable!
Please fill out the contact form below to get more information about the scholarships, our learning center, and any other information you may like. And always feel free to contact us about a tour and sit-down meeting to discuss enrolling at Highland Community Learning Center!
